Shaun and Dan had worked together on various ventures, but it wasn't until 2007 when they re-launched their company as Neutron Interactive, that they discovered what really mattered. In a candid interview CEO Dan Caffee, and President and CFO Shaun Ritchie, shared a little bit about Neutron Interactive and why it just works.
Why Neutron? "Before Neutron Interactive was created, we had a company we didn't like. We wanted to create a place where we'd actually want to come into work every day. We wanted to create a better, more modern company."
Building the Neutron Empire "Through experience and a lot of trial & error, we learned from our mistakes and combined the best aspects to create a successful company. From the beginning we tried to create an atmosphere where each employee could reach their potential. Growth is something that is expected at Neutron and all of our employees have that need to continually improve themselves which improves what we're doing as a whole."
The Key to Success "Success isn't about us; it's about hiring great people. Success is 80% people, that's where it comes from. Having the best people on the team."
Company Culture "We did research on companies we admire and wanted to emulate. The common denominator between all of those companies was that they each had a unique, but strong company culture. We realized that we could really create any successful company we wanted by hiring incredibly talented people and providing a work place where they could reach their potential."
Final Thoughts "We love the people we work with. We love being surrounded by super smart, creative people and we work hard to provide an environment they can thrive in."
