Neutron Interactive realizes that running a good business doesn’t mean keeping people locked up at their desks all day. In fact, the team at Neutron has decided to put a spin on what it really means to “run” a good business by launching a new company wellness initiative. Any workplace study will tell you that a healthy worker is a good worker, so Neutron has decided to make fitness a big part of what we do. Read on to find out more about this exciting new program, and how our staff will be taking advantage of it.
What our New Company Wellness Initiative Means
In order to make sure that everyone at Neutron is taking good care of their body, Neutron will be offering a monthly fitness allowance for all employees starting this month. Employees are free to put this allowance toward whatever they want – gym memberships, ski passes, fitness equipment, race entries, you name it! As long as the money goes toward promoting health and fitness, employees are free to spend their allowance in as many creative ways as they can dream up.
Leading the “Neu Way”
Neutron Interactive is headquartered in Salt Lake City, which is one of the fittest cities in the US. With plenty of outdoor activities available, from cycling to skiing to mountain climbing, Neutron employees will have no trouble finding a fun and exciting way to spend their fitness allowance. You might say that the Neutron staff is an outdoorsy folk, and there’s no doubt that everyone loves the “Neu way” that Neutron is headed.
How Neutron Employees are Putting Their Fitness Allowance to Good Use
If you had a monthly fitness allowance, and you lived in Salk Lake City, how would you use it? For Account Manager Ashley Jones, the answer is a Cross Fit Gym Membership. Ashley is no stranger to the gym, and this new perk might even allow her to re-discover her love for power tumbling (she used to compete worldwide!). Yoga is definitely a popular pastime for Neutron employees, and Caitlin Barrett, Genevieve Garner, and Lindsey Johnson have all decided to join a nearby gym so they can attend yoga classes together during their lunch break. Others have decided to take a more adventurous route with their fitness allowance. Micky Schwartz, a self-proclaimed “ski bum,” will find his allowance helpful during the upcoming ski season, and Anant Asthana is planning on using his allowance for rock climbing adventures.
At Neutron Interactive, we’re no strangers to having fun at the office. Our company has already been ranked as one of the best places to work in Utah, and this new initiative is set to provide another great benefit for our much-valued employees. So get ready for the new face – and body – of Neutron. Next time you come by the office, come watch us flex our new muscles. We might even challenge you to an arm wrestle – that is, if you think you’re up for it.
